IMPACT Technology Consultants today announced the launch of its computational fluid dynamics division: IMPACT-CFD. The division, led by IMPACT Team Leader Alain Bourhis, formalizes and expands IMPACT’s commitment to building a world-class organization focused on applying CFD to development, scale up, and optimization of specialty chemical and pharmaceutical products and processes. IMPACT-CFD uses FLUENT®, AcuSolveTM, CFX®, and internally-developed CFD packages.

IMPACT has expanded its technology development service offering with the opening of a process research and development laboratory. The laboratory, now fully operational, is located at 88 Jackson Road, Devens, MA. The facility responds to frequent requests by our clients for an off-site capability that can perform process or product research, scale-up, optimization, and troubleshooting experiments.
