The IMPACT organization, including its people, equipment, facilities, and engineering tools, was built to help bring new chemical based technologies from concept through to commercialization. Our services division has been successfully providing this capability to our clients since 1998.

In many instances, IMPACT has provided these services to clients that were just starting up and simply did not possess any engineering staff or the time to hire appropriate personnel. In a “plug and play” fashion, IMPACT became the entire technical development team for the client, immediately advancing the technology towards commercialization.

This strategy has proven to be highly successful for these clients, which is attributable to the quality and experience of the IMPACT organization and our long track record of working together as a team. Building a technology development organization from scratch for a newly formed company is a serious risk factor for investors and founders. The hiring process is lengthy, costly and not without error.

Start-ups inherently need strong, start-up savvy, dedicated resources that can wear many hats and offer multiple skill sets to maximize technical coverage with minimal headcount. This type of resource is always in high demand and difficult to find. The goal of the IMPACT Ventures division is to apply our highly efficient, lower risk technology development resource to incubate either new technologies created internally here at IMPACT or technologies obtained via partnership with inventors, entrepreneurs, universities, national laboratories, or start-up companies. Upon successful due diligence, IMPACT Ventures can provide resources and/or capital to help develop new technology concepts until an appropriate hand-off to industry. IMPACT also possesses professional marketing resources to help with process/product functional requirements, product positioning, or market launch strategies.
